We have two farms closed to each other in really countryside. (The nearest shop or post office 16 km). One with forest and organic growing fields as work, in the other farm we live and we have some animals as a hobby. Our dad is a real farmer, he don't speak english, but he is very good in "speaking and hearing with his hands and eyes". Mum is working as a private occupational therapist outside of the farm. She is taking care of requests and sometimes she is too busy with her therapy work. Our daughters are adults and living in the other towns, just visiting us quite often. Our son started his studies in the other town and he is spending time at home only at weekends and holidays.
We are growing fields ( organic oat). We have two ponies, one horse, one goat, seven sheep (we get wool and mum makes handicrafts but mostly they are taking care of nature around our house), three dogs (two of them are hunting dogs) and three cats. One dog and one cat are living inside our home, other animals outside.
It is many different works to do, depending what season is going on. For example feeding animals, cleaning them or their conditions (folds, stall) or build/repair yards. Here you can also do some forest management or tractor works in fields, pick up herbs, berries or vegetables (just to us or animals as food, we don't sell these). Mum also expect your help in housekeeping. We can tell more with email because it depends so much on seasons.
You can have a single or shared (2) room inside in our house. Kitchen, toilet and shower shared with family. In the summer you can also have a tent if you like to try it. Usually we eat breakfast and dinner together, but it depends on timetables of each other. Usually you have to eat your lunch alone.
